Solana Beach
Solana Beach is a small coastal city in northern San Diego County between Del Mar and Encinitas. This city includes 1.7 miles of Pacific coastline and is a site with lots of offerings including art galleries, boutiques, Fletcher Cove Park, antique shops, eateries, and coffee houses. Solana Beach is the type of city where you can walk around all day and experience its unique culture; there is something for everyone. Also, conveniently located in Solana Beach is one of the three Coaster and Amtrak train stations of San Diego.
The houses in Solana Beach range from small condos and mid-sized townhomes to multi-million dollar properties. Being so close to the water, many of the houses are built to optimize for natural light and sunset views with the use of skylights, floor-to-ceiling windows, and architectural glass elements. There is a greenbelt surrounding Solana Beach so a lot of the properties have overlooking nature views. Many of the houses in this area were built around the mid to late 20th century, so you’ll find that there is a spectrum of original features and upgrades.
The beaches in Solana Beach are pristine and well known in San Diego; Solana Beach is a favorite among local surfers because of the tides and ease of access with a surfboard. Aside from the beaches, this community is also known for its nightlife. On the average weekend, you can commonly find the locals walking the boardwalk, hanging out in Cedros Design District, or catching some live music at Belly Up. As a whole, Solana Beach is a popular destination for tourists and active residents who are looking for a place to live where they can get to know their neighbors, visit the Farmers market, shop at eclectic shops, golf, and hike.
